Privacy Policy

Courtside is an iPhone app made by Kerbine, LLC ("Kerbine", "we"). This policy explains what Courtside collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Yahoo account connection. When you connect Yahoo, Yahoo gives Courtside an access token and a refresh token so the app can load your fantasy data. We also receive your Yahoo account identifier and the display names Yahoo shows in your leagues.
  • Fantasy Sports data. Your leagues, teams, rosters, matchups, standings, scores and league settings, as provided by the Yahoo Fantasy Sports API.
  • Notification token. If you turn on notifications, we store the push token Apple assigns to your device so we can send you alerts.

We never receive your Yahoo password. Courtside does not collect your contacts, location, photos or payment information, and does not include advertising.

How we use it

Only to provide Courtside's features: showing your league, keeping your data up to date, and sending notifications you've asked for. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build profiles about you.

Yahoo data

Courtside requests read-only access to Yahoo Fantasy Sports. It cannot make roster moves, trades or changes on your behalf. Our use of Yahoo data follows Yahoo's developer terms. You can revoke Courtside's access at any time from the app or from your Yahoo account's connected-apps settings.

Where it's stored

Data is stored on your device and on servers we operate with Amazon Web Services in the United States. It is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that run Courtside on our behalf (such as Amazon Web Services for hosting and Apple for push notifications), or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your Yahoo account is connected. When you disconnect Yahoo or delete your account in the app, we delete your tokens and stored fantasy data from our servers within 30 days. You can also email us to request deletion.

Children

Courtside is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
